To mark the 150th anniversary of the Zurich Bar Association, a commemorative publication was created in an unconventional format: four independent thematic magazines, each written by a different author. JEFF brought these texts to life through concept, layout and illustration, and visually united them as a cohesive series. Each of the four magazines explores key aspects of the legal profession, highlighting its past, present and future.

From a design perspective, the magazines also build a bridge between respected tradition and a fresh outlook. The cover, for example, subtly references classic leather bound, gold embossed law volumes without ever feeling outdated. Inside, illustrations and carefully selected highlights structure the text and make it more accessible. The conceptual «thinking around the corner» of the reduced, humorous illustrations adds a fresh twist and creates tangible added value for the reader.
